Three schools, Veterans Elementary, Chula Vista Hills and Salt Creek Elementary, are encouraging children to read through the "The Reading Shuffle" program.   Children are asked to read every night for 30 minutes.  Each week that students reach their reading goals, they become eligible to win a prize.

Winners are selected from each grade at the end of the quarter and win ipod shuffles (4th thru 6th graders) or Leapster Didjs (kindergarten thru 3rd graders) - all provided by Dr. Cruz.
