One Orthodontist
One Office Location. We have one convenient office location in Chula Vista and one Board Certified Orthodontist.
You can count on Dr. Cruz's personal attention at each and every appointment.
Our Orthodontic Team. Our administrative staff and clinical RDAs are long term employees with combined orthodontic experience of over 50 years and it shows in their expertise. We know our patients by name and cater to their personal needs.
Cutting Edge Technology. Our office is technologically advanced in the field of orthodontics. We offer not only digital photographs, but digital x-rays. At Cruz Orthodontics, we use the most advanced bracket system (Innovation), as well as
the Invisalign System.
We Utilize the Innovation System. The Innovation system is a new and exciting treatment modality in orthodontics. It is more than just a different type of brace. In the past, orthodontists would use heavy forces to move teeth. The Innovation System utilizes light forces and low friction to move teeth faster and more gently than ever before. The results are outstanding.
The patients in our orthodontic office benefit from our use of the Innovation System in the following ways:
- Treatment is much gentler - your teeth don't get as sore
- Treatment time can be much shorter than with conventional braces
- Appointments are typically 8-10 weeks apart - this allows you to miss less school/work!

Meticulous Sterilization. Our patients can be assured that we follow all of the OSHA guidelines for sterilization techniques.
Flexible Financial Arrangements. We offer flexible in office financing that is interest free. We accept all military, indemnity & PPO insurances.
Design Your Own Retainer. When the braces come off, our patients have the option to design their own retainers. This is a fun way to involve the patients in their treatment. Whether your retainer has your favorite team logo, picture of your pet, or is simply your favorite color. It will show your individualism.
Kids Club. We do everything we can to make your child's experience fun and exciting.
If your child isn't quite ready to start orthodontics, they will become a member of our Kids Club. They receive their own membership card, a gift certificate for Jamba Juice, The Treatery, or Coldstone. Their choice!
They will also be entered into our Kids Club drawing for an IPOD, Gameboy, or DVD player.
We will continue to see them every six months in our orthodontic guidance program at no charge. We will monitor their growth until they are ready to get started with their braces.
